        HOW ELSE CAN I HELP?

With thousands of evacuees sheltering in Acadiana churches, government buildings, and more, finding a unified way to assist them may seem difficult.

Donated items should be directed to the organizations designated on this site. Just click one of the categories above.

NOTE:The Cajundome is not a drop-off point for supplies.

Organizations like the American Red Cross Acadiana Chapter, Lafayette Catholic Service Center, church groups and more who are assisting evacuees can contact these distribution points to request goods and services as they are needed, allowing these primary service providers to focus on evacuee relief.

        Monetary Donations:

The United Way of Acadiana Hurricane Recovery Fund is dedicated entirely to relief efforts in Acadiana. The money will support victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
